Cool

Real cool sound generator that keeps you occupied for hours with experimenting. A wav/mp3 export option would be great.

Hell Yes

Just bought it for my i pad. I simply love it. This makes so much fun. I regret no cent buying it.You can play hours with it and create new musical sequences.Next step would be that this app can send midi data out. Great Work Full Support.Thank you.

Crashes

Sadly it crashes on my ipod3g when I try to change the tempo or load a piece... And it does not play when I hit play But since I know otomata and I know youll fix this you get 4 stars :)

Ha! Finaly!

Well Otomata Looks a little like common stepsequencers or the tenorion, but this is real something else. I find the idea behind something intruiging, it reminds me a litte of very early "live" simulations. Hard to explain, so visit the Homepage and check out the Videos, or if you can, try the Flash Version. Well i was waiting for this to come to iOS and i got it Thilos up and Five Stars.

Worse

Ob pc very good. As App. On iPhone 3GS Sound is Bad to more than Worse. Not Worth the money

Freezes

Not to be negative but when I hit play the program just locks up and crashes. I am sure you will fix the bugs though

Brilliant

An ingenious way to kill a few minutes making a tune or a few hours sculpting an amazing melody.

crashes

I have been waiting along time for this app, but it is crashing non stop, cant get it to make a sound.

Crashing

I wasted my money on an app that crashes way too much, could you please fix it so it wont be a waste, crashes everytime i load presets, change speed or play

Love it BUT..

Please allow midi export in next update. I would love to use my rhythms to make songs :)

Not working

Very disapointing, I bought this app thinking it would be just like the version on the internet, but nop! It doesnt work at all!!!! Dont buy this!!

Fun, simple, and it works

Not sure why others are complaining that it doesnt work. Maybe it was a bug that was fixed, either way it works great for me! The premise of this little music game is simple but its a great way to spend a few minutes while trying to make something interesting. I think it was designed well and am glad to have supported the developer.

What fun

This simple sequencer plays with scales, tunings and timing. Creating simple melodies that evolve into something much more. I can imagine multiple iPads connect via a mixer playing off each other. A brilliant piece of software.

:)

This is so enjoyable. İ think musicians should download OTOMATA

Its time to...

Get on Audiobus, interapp audio, midi out. Or it will remain a toy. Its 2015

This is great!

This the one! I have been waiting a while for this release. And with additional features, this is actually better than the famous flash/web version. Very good job!

Fantastic!!!

Ive been looking forward to this app since I discovered the original otomata page. Expectations exceeded. Absolutely perfect implementation.

Best of its kind...finally on iOS!!

I discovered this amazing tool a few months back and instantly thought, mobile version??? But none of the other aps like it were as good. Definitely worth checking out, potentially hours of melody creation.

Awesome

While using the Flash version, I realized that this was an alright computer game, but it would be an even better iOS app. This app did not fail to satisfy. If you like music creation apps but dont want to learn how to write music, this app is for you. You essentially create tile patterns and then listen as they come to life at the tap of a button. It would be fantasic to see the addition of drums in a future update, like Matt Rixs version.

Very Good App, But Needs Midi Out & Sync

This is a very good app, but it badly needs Core Midi support for Midi out and sync in order to be truly outstanding. Its nearest rival, Sound Cells, already has support for Midi out, but lacks the preset management and sharing functions of Otomata. Add Core Midi to Otomata and it will eclipse Sound Cells.
